Watch I purchased on eBay when resold is accused of being counterfeit
Dear eBay Community & Support Team,
I need assistance regarding a watch I purchased on eBay in 2023 , a Bell & Ross 123-92 and resold in December 2024 for the same amount I paid: $1,495.00
The buyer has since contacted me, claiming the watch is not authentic. I purchased the watch in good faith through eBay with no reason to doubt its authenticity at the time of purchase and resale.
I’ve attempted to resolve this issue through the eBay Help system, but I have not been able to speak with a real person or find a path forward. I’m simply trying to understand what steps I need to take and what protections are in place for buyers and sellers in situations like this.
I would appreciate any help in directing this matter to the appropriate support team.
