Was sold stolen property and Ebay will not help
I bought a Samsung phone on March 5, 2025 from the Phonenest. Phone stopped working January 12th with AT&T telling me that the phone had been blacklisted because it had been reported stolen. Seller told me that the phone could be whitelisted but nobody at AT&T has ever heard of this process. I've been scammed and Ebay offers no recourse. Ebay is no longer reputable

You need to file a police report. eBay will work with the police regarding a crime.
In the meantime, try contacting your credit card company about a chargeback.
