Was over bid on and item and purchaser canceled bid
I bid on an item then someone bided higher. Purchased another camera in meantime but bidder cancelled his bid. In the meantime, I can’t remove item from cart and keep getting invoices plus. Seller will not answer my request.

When you bid on an ebay auction your bid remains active until the auction ends in case another bidder retracts their bid, or a seller cancels someone's bid. You should have waited until the auction ended before buying the other camera. One way to avoid being caught in your situation is to bid in the last minutes of an auction. Then you will know quickly if you have won or lost and other bidders will not have time to retract bids.

Do be aware that when you retract a bid, it goes on your public buyer record, and more than a couple of retractions can cause sellers to cancel your bid(s) and block you from bidding on or buying items from them.
If you do not pay for the item you won, you will receive an unpaid item strike. One strike will not hurt you, but getting a second one within a year, could cause you to be automatically blocked from bidding on or buying many sellers items. Most have set up a buyer requirement that automatically blocks buyers with 2 or more strikes received in the last year. After 12 months a strike will disappear from your account.
