Was I scammed?
I bouht an tem that I should received no latter than yesterday. It s been over 10 days since I paid for it.
the seller claims to be sick and that ebay miscaulculated the costs for shipping.
after not receiving the item, I Contacted the seller and kindly requesed a full refund.
can ayone point me in the right direction aa to how to better handle this situation. any help is apprecited.

Did the seller claim that being sick prevented shipping? Or that the shipping miscalculation prevented shipping? By themselves, neither of those statements explain what the seller actually did or did not do.
If nothing arrives by the last estimated delivery date, the buyer can file an "item not received" case starting the next day, or any day up to thirty days from that delivery date. Once a case has been filed, the seller has three business days to provide tracking that shows delivery or refund the buyer. If the seller does neither, at that point the buyer can ask eBay to step in and force a refund.
