Warrany Replacement
In Dec. 2022 I received a car cover from thecoverfactory. A major deciding factor in the purchase was the lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship. 6 months later I find the cover torn at stitching around the hold down grommet on the side. The seller claims this is normal wear and tear... I put the cover on in December and hadn't touched it since. The seller agreed to send me a replacement cover if I would confirm the shipping address. I did so and have not heard back since then.
It appears that Ebay does not care about warranty's, after 90 days you are on your own.
I have messaged the seller numerous times, but none of my messages show up in the message log. Does Ebay allow ghosting? I know the messages were sent sinve I checked the box to copy to my email.
Are they any options?

OP3 years agoWhat is worse is that it appears Ebay supports ghosting of buyers.

If it has been less than 180 days since date of purchase, you can try to file a dispute through Paypal.

·3 years agoYes eBay doesn't have anything to do with warranties. You only have ebays Money back guarantee which is good for 30 days. Seller warranties are mostly useless, a manufacturer warranty may come into play.
