Warrant
If a seller advertised a rim that has a lifetime warranty and the rim split in half not even 6 months later should eBay step in and make the seller stand behind the warranty? I've contacted eBay several times about the rim and they tell me that there's nothing they can do. I'm far from rich and need a new wheel for my wife's car.

OP2 years agoSo eBay just allows seller to screw over their customers. That's terrible business

I think eBay should not allow sellers to say that a warranty is included at all, but it would be very hard to control.
I’m sorry that your seller did not stand behind his offer.

OP2 years agoIf they offer a warranty eBay should most definitely make them honor it. Especially being that the rim was only on my wife's car for 2 months.

Unfortunately, eBay does not enforce seller extended warranties - they can help for 30 days after receipt. After that you are dependent on the honest of the seller.
