why is ebay search different from the rest of the world ? example, Im trying to search (Lowrider cars for sale) in eBay motors, and the results are toy cars, clothes, bikes, and not vehicles ? Also, I'm searching for a rear door for a (Buick regal station wagon) "which is in my car garage", and the results are everything and anything but a door ? Isnt it just easier to search what your looking for ? another example, I'm interested in just buying any classic car , why can't I just search under cars/trucks, enter the years between 1960 and 1980 and hit search ? instead of going to classic cars, choose era, choose make, choose choose choose. then close the ebay window and go to craigslist or FB market place where its one two and done. not even a three. and I have to post this rant here cause I clicked on contact/help and couldn't find a way to contact ebay, instead my option is to contact community members .

Make sure you are limiting your search to the correct category. If you are looking for actual vehicles, try searching using a keyword, then change the category to "Cars & Trucks":

For automotive part listings, some sellers include a long list of makes, models and years so their items turn up in many searches. Just pick a make, model or year that has absolutely nothing to do with your search from that list, and exclude that keyword by putting a minus sign in front of it. Since keyword spammers are lazy, they quite often reuse the same list and copy from other spammers. Any listing with that keyword in the item specifics will be excluded from your results, including any listing by that item-specific spamming seller.
