Want to Appeal a case
Back in March a buyer opened a case on a vintage 1940 compo doll she purchased, when it arrived she said the dress wasn't like the pictures? Lots of pics taken, The case was closed and decided in my Favor with saying I had nothing to do and no refunds. The buyer opened a Second Case in April, same item, same vintage compo doll, reason this time ..she wanted her $$ back, same financial institution. She sent to doll back in the meantime, packed very poorly, when I unwrapped her she had 3 Cracks, one on each side of her head, and one in the back. This was all explained to ebay and they said no worries, I had seller protection..yesterday they sided this time with the buyer, and took all my funds that they had been holding once again! I would like to know if I have any recourse as the doll was not packed the same way she was shipped, and now broken when she wasn't in my possession ? I have tried 2 days to get a hold of CS but the automated it just said I can send an e-mail? It this the way to treat a member here since 2003 with great feeds, many wonderful repeat buyers. I would like to know if I can get $$ for damages?

Was the second case filed through her financial institution? If so, Ebay will not be able to help you with that

From what I understand it was the same financial institute, both times. ebay hasn't been very helpful on this..... I do believe she should compensate me for the damages done to the doll. Thanks for responding 🙂

OP2 years agoAll I know is each time these cases open my funds held for weeks and e bay said it was the financial institute they were waiting on on each one, then yesterday all my funds taken...
