Waiting a week to get paid!!????!! Or pay Ebay $2 per listing

Question

What is going on with Ebay telling our buyers that they don't have to pay until a week down the road??? That is unless we pay Ebay $2 per listing in order to get our money promptly, like we have for 25 plus years!!!! I don't need these packages sitting around waiting to get paid. And I don't want buyers backing out after a week. Why wasn't I informed about any of this? ty

eBay offers buyers the option to combine multiple auctions won over a 7 day period with the same seller. Buyers can choose to turn on the option when they enter their auto payment information before they bid. This option is available if the seller has combined shipping set up. If they win the auto payment is set to 7 days, not the usual 1 hour, to allow the buyer to bid and win more from that seller.

All auctions won within the 7 day period will be auto charged at the day and time that was set when they won the first auction. Additional items won do not extend that payment.

I am not quite sure what you mean by eBay charging $2 per listing for you to get paid. There is no listing fee like that. I think you are referring to the optional express payment for a fee payout option. You can set your payout frequency to daily with no fee. Once your funds clear your payment will be scheduled for the next day.
