Visa vanilla cards
I have several visa Vanilla cards with balances on them, which I verified as good. Several times I tried to purchase items, but the cards get refused, with a generic message “ bank has not acceptedâ€. I called the visa folks, all they did was assign a ticket number after 30 minutes and I never heard from them again. I have lost a small balance already, but still have others with good balances but am nervous about buying anything if the balance is not accepted again. These visa vanilla balances are starting to look like a huge scam, as everyone ends up with one. The only thing I can think is maybe some of the sellers are located out of the USA?

Mentor2 years agoMany users have been complaining about having problems using such cards on eBay starting in July of this year. It is not clear if this is a technical issue or the result of a policy change, and as far as I know, eBay has not said anything one way or the other.
You may want to make your eBay purchase using a different payment method and use the Vanilla card in an actual brick and mortar store.
