Virtual game code_eBay rip off
I sold a virtual game code for a game that I already had for PS4, which came with a PS5:
Horizon Forbidden West - PS4/PS5 - Digital Code
The eBay buyer was "elvimoy_5" who paid for the game code.
They asked that I do not ship the game code, but send it through the eBay messaging, so all of the evidence is there.
They gave me a review saying the code worked.
But then, after 1 month had past, they disputed the purchase with their credit card company and because a shipment was not made, eBay refunded the payment.
I called eBay customer service and was on the phone with them for an hour and they said there was nothing they could do as it was a flaw with their system.
Nobody at eBay could help, I lost my game, the 'buyer' basically stole it.
There was no information on eBay about having to ship game codes.
So I want to make sure that others do not fall into this eBay trap.
I guess if eBay had real customer service, this could be addressed, but it was not.
So I could send the cops around to the 'buyer' and/or take them to court, but for $40, it is not worth it.
Surely eBay should have systems in place to prevent robbery on their site.
This probably occurs all the time on eBay and eBay do nothing about it because it does not affect their bottom line.
Very disappointed with eBay.

Once they go to their payment source, there nothing Ebay will/can do.
