Virtual bank account for eBay payouts
As a US Seller, Can I use a virtual bank account (provided by Payoneer or Wise) for eBay payouts? Or is it necessary to use physical bank account?
The Payoneer virtual bank account is a checking account with a routing number.

Mentor2 years ago@stke-3050 If you are resident of the US then you must use a brick and mortar checking account. Not a virtual account or Payoneer,
The account registration name and address must match your checking account and government ID EXACTLY. You will need to provide a SS# You can't use a PO box for the registration address but you can use one for shipping.

OP2 years agoI'm not a resident of US right now but I've a registered business in US and ITIN number.

Mentor2 years agoSorry for the late reply. Just turned my computer on for a little bit this evening.
The registration name and address on your eBay account MUST match the checking account, and government ID EXACTLY.
Since you are using a US address eBay will REQUIRE you to use a US checking account.
I don't think you can change the country in account settings for your registration address. You can try here and see what happens under personal information >> https://accountsettings.ebay.com/profile
If you can't update to your correct TRUE address then you must open a NEW account to be able to link Payoneer and use your real current address.

If you’re an eBay seller living or established outside of the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, or the European Economic Area (except Iceland), then you will need to use a Payoneer account.
You should be prompted to enter your Payoneer information AFTER you try to submit your first listing. The listing will stay in draft format until you complete this step. If you are using a cellphone turn it to landscape to see the link to register.

#1 Make sure that your name and address match your Payoneer account exactly. I had to add my middle name to my eBay account. You can not use a PO box for registration but you can use it for the ship from and to addresses. Verify that here in account settings: ( https://accountsettings.ebay.com/profile )
#2 Enter your backup payment method for selling costs here:
( https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list ) Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs.
