How is it that the views on a large item that I am selling is going down. I had over 700 views, then when I looked again, it was at 691 today it is down to 650. How is that possible???

Mentor2 years agoThe view count is on a rolling 30 day period. As each new day is added, the oldest day rolls off. If the count is going down, that means you had more views prior to 30 days than you're receiving now.

OP2 years agoThank you, that does make some since but it is extremely annoying... Do you know anything about this NEW "Make an Offer" policy, where they ask for your payment before you can submit your offer and before the seller even has a chance to look at it?

Mentor2 years agoNot sure why an accurate view count would be annoying. It indicates less interest in an item than you had before. Though it may be disappointing, that's good information.
The new auto-pay for offers and auctions requires you to provide payment information - not a payment - which will be used only if the offer accepted or you win the auction.
