Views and watched
I’m tired of the views and watches being inaccurate in my listings. I’m still paying eBay when I sell something g so I would like them to fix this issue and keep up their end of the selling agreement. Any idea if it will ever get fixed? I asked months ago about it and it was “in processâ€

Are you aware that the view count includes only the views from the past 30 days? So some views may drop off or be added each day. Tomorrow you could have fewer or more than today.
Another misconception is that you can't have watches if you have no views. That's incorrect. First of all, watchers don't update after 30 days. The count includes all buyers who have added the item to their watch list and remain until the watcher deletes the item from his list. A buyer can add an item to their watch list from the search results page without opening and viewing the listing.

OP3 years agoOne of my items for sale had 10 views and overnight, not the end of the month, it went down to 6. That didn’t make sense to me.

Mentor3 years agoThe view count is updated daily, not at the end of the month, and includes 30 days worth of views. If your count went from 10 to 6, that means the 4 views from 31 days ago rolled out of the count.

·3 years agoI'm not saying they're not inaccurate, but I'm wondering how you know they are inaccurate? What's your source for the accurate numbers?
