Videos are completely bleached out on iOS app

If you watch video for the listing above on the eBay iOS app, the video is completely washed out – you basically can't even see the card. This anomaly isn't visible anywhere else (e.g. desktop, Ebay website on Safari iOS, etc). Note that iOS app and iOS itself are fully update to date. Videos are not HDR; just standard iphone record settings.
However, if you look at the video for this listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/235558604845, you'll see no such issue in the iOS app.
I'm uploaded 1080x1920 mp4s with actual output at 608x1080 (the aspect ratio from iphone video camera). Encoder is H.264 with constant 30px frame rate. Using handbreak to turn native iphone .movs into .mp4s.
Any recommendations on how to resolve this? Also, while I believe this next issue is unrelated, all the videos I upload, when played back, change size in the beginning of the video, usually starting very small, and then becoming the correct size a few seconds later. This occurs everywhere (app, desktop, etc). I'd love a solution for that as well.
Thank you!

OP2 years agoI discovered the issue; iPhone videos (for 13 pro max, at least) default to HDR, though the setting to adjust this is quite well hidden away. Despite the transcoding process, something about the source being HDR causes the iOS app version of the videos to be extremely bleached. Solution is to use non-HDR source footage.
Even still, the fact that this issue only occur within the eBay iOS app makes me think this is still a bug.
