Victim of feedback manipulation/bribery
I recently purchased an item from Ebay and once the item had been delivered I left my feedback, the feedback was marked positive, although I did list problems with the item "which i think was fair enough" however the seller was not happy and they started with offering me a free item, which I rejected they then offered me £5.00 to change the feedback comments, which I also rejected then they offered £7.00 also rejected they then asked me what I would deem as acceptable in order to change the feedback to which I replied due to the situation you have put me in I will not be comfortable with anything less then a full refund and I told them I would report them to Ebay for feedback manipulation, the conversation ended "I did not expect a refund" after reporting to Ebay they came back and said they found no fault i even appealed it and they said the same, how is this not feedback manipulation and bribery?

OP11 months agoI did this and they and they "investigated" the issue and found no fault, to me this clearly is feedback manipulation and eBay have said its not, I posted this in hopes that someone would say whether or not im right, can a seller offer partial refunds in order for a changed feedback and its not against t&c

I don't think the situation you described is feedback manipulation, just a seller trying to encourage you to revise your neutral feedback.
Buyers can revise neutral and negative feedback if the seller asks them to do so.
