VERY UNUSUAL response from an Ebay - Playboy reviewer!
Summary: 3dguy expressed frustration over an Ebay listing removal due to an alleged 'underage model' in a Playboy issue, questioning the efficiency of the reviewing process. comics-scifi-collectibles acknowledged the frustration and explained that certain issues do indeed have underage models. They advised against relisting removed items to avoid violations and potential suspensions, noting that sold items are removed from history to prevent misuse.
Who is in charge of reviewing the Playboy issues on Ebay??? They don’t seem to be very efficient in their job??? The issues they have an issue with - WERE ALL SOLD ABOUT A WEEK AGO ON EBAY! They mention some “underage model” as the reason my listing was
”banned”?? Are they not familiar with the Playboy brand????? Do they actually believe Hugh Hefner would risk listing an UNDER-AGE girl/women AS HIS MONTHLY CENTERFOLD???(By the way, the models names that I DID LIST in my auction WERE CENTERFOLDS ONLY!)
Come on now - I think a “refresher course” on what is allowed or not allowed in a nationally syndicated magazine would do wonders for that employee.

Mentor1 week ago@3dguy I understand that this is frustrating however there are some issues that did have underage models. See this post that has a list of issues with what are considered underage models>

I know that is frustrating that the bots do sometimes remove listings that are not actually in violation. Never relist an item that is removed even if an agent says it's ok as the bots are not reset and your item will be removed again which could result in a suspension.
Sold items are also removed from sales history so that they can not be used to relist or sell similar.

OP6 hours agoThank you for your response to my question. Clears up a lot of confusion on the issue.
Will be looking for another venue to sell questionable(?) adult items outside of Ebay.
Best regards
