Very poor marketplace for Solar Panels
its clear that eBay does not understand Solar Panels, and does not seem to care about customer satisfaction. Solar Panels should be specified at 25 degrees centigrade with the standard irradiation of 1000 watts per square meter, and measure the maximum power point tracking and state the voltage and current at that point. In addition, the open circuit voltage should be specified as well as the short circuit current. The dimensions and durability should also be specified, and the degraded rating when exposed to the elements and sun for say, 25 years.
Stating a model number that appears to be watts (e.g. 100W, 400W) is deceptive and wrong, yet many ebay listings do this. Further there is no way to search for solar panel wattage output at the MPPT.
eBay needs to provide a specification table for sellers to complete. If they cannot complete this table they should be listed in the toy section, because they are toys in my opinion.
