verifying new device repeatedly

Question

I have had a new computer for about a month. When we first got it setup, ebay asked me to verify a new device, which I did. Suddenly yesterday ebay started asking me to verify a new device several times a day! How do I stop this??? Very annoying and unnecessary!!!!

Did you recently change your browser settings to erase cookies when you close the browser? Or start using a cleaner program? Or a install new security program, or change your security settings?

Try another browser as a test. If that works better, check your settings in the original browser. Make sure you are not blocking cookies. Try manually erasing just your eBay cookies once -- sometimes that helps if a cookie is corrupt. Make sure your browser is up to date.
