Verifying buyer credability
I’m new to eBay selling, this is my first sale. Had a question for the buyer and found the phone number was not active #, the eBay account ID (just says Mexico) does not match the shipping name or address, texted buyer and was told that he shipped to his cousins address. So investigated address and found out it actually is a UPS location in Texas. I suppose they offer mailbox services and it’s a valid destination point. Still all feels kinda sketchy to me, it is a large purchase approx. $800. Is this ‘normal?’

Mentor10 months ago@esse-treasure I just wanted to add to @inceptions great answer that reshipping voids the eBay Money Back Guarantee. You are only responsible for the item arriving safely and as described to the address provided at checkout.

What you described is a common scenario.
It's best not to spend time investigating your buyers (in fact, it feels pretty creepy). If your buyer paid, you are required by eBay to ship to the provided address on the transaction within your stated handling time.
For the future, if you are nervous about listing an $800 item, it's best not to list it.
