Verify shipping address
While getting a sold item ready for shipping I noticed something odd about the buyers name: A name followed by a series of letters, clearly not forming a last name and they were all in caps. So finding this odd and curious if there was attempt at fraud I decided to do a map search with the listed address. It turns out that the numbers and words of the address were legit: example '123 NE Airport Drive' but the zip code listed by the buyer did not correlate with the one given in the map search.

·3 years agoThe address is probably a freight forwarder.
International buyers use them when sellers don't ship to their country.
Those letters after their name is the ID the freight forwarder uses to know who to forward the package to.
