VAT - Tax paid in EU/UK
I have a question. Why would eBay charge a customer VAT tax on an item purchased in the U.S.? I sold a pair of Zegna shorts (made in Italy). When I did the listing, eBay did inter "Italy" in the country of origin, however, the item was shipped from a VA to IL.
