Varying shipping costs. Why am I paying more than I charged for a shipping label?
I don't understand when I enter packaging weights and info and eBay comes up with a shipping charge and then when a customer buys the item, eBay is charging me more for a shipping label than they charged the buyer. Does that make sense?
They charged the buyer $6 to ship, and I receive that amount. Then eBay charges me $9 for a shipping label.
It doesn't always happen but i can't figure out why

Mentor5 months ago@livinthedreambk22 You need to select buyer pays Calculated shipping. Shipping for most mail classes is based on weight, dimensions and distance to the buyer.
For example this listing you charged 6.57 no matter where the buyer was located.

Where this listing you should have been ok as it was a record that can ship Media Mail. Media Mail does NOT use distance or dimensions, just weight. https://www.ebay.com/itm/306891655071?
Comics can't ship Media Mail though.
