Variations Pricing Not Saving UGH!

Question

I know I am not a dumb person and I have been googling everything to try to understand what I am doing wrong. I am using Variations for the first time. I have went in and added all my pricing for each item, saved. But then I get a message on the main page that my pricing is invalid. I go back to the Variations page and I see that all of my pricing is zeroed out. Please help!

I've fiddled with Variations for several years, looking for the gotchas, but have not encountered pricing disappearing. So that is not normal. Be sure that the "main page", the master record, does not have the price or quantity slots filled in.

Since you are most likely listing in the Sports Card Singles category, do make sure that your Variation attributes (drop list labels) do NOT match the label for any reserved Item Specific. I usually recommend that sellers use the label "Card#", which doesn't conflict with any Item Specifics.
