Vague "Payment Dispute" message a few days ago and I am rather confused. Scam?
The message I got was. "Your buyer filed a payment dispute for an order placed on May 28, 2024. This means that they disputed a charge directly with their payment institution. They are requesting $1,100.00 back and the reason for this dispute is that the buyer was charged twice."
The dispute the buyer wrote was "the buyer use a wrong funding source it should be the paypal balance but it was being charge in the credit card on file"
Now as I read this the buyer used a credit card to make the purchase, which he soon realized that he wanted to use PayPal instead. This of course happens the day AFTER I shipped the product.
Is this some sort of scam?
Why in hell am I involved with what payment method he used? That should be between their credit card and PayPal, shouldn't?
Why am I being asked to refund a 2nd payment that I never got? (I don't take credit cards)
