How do I put my store in vacation mode for shipping purposes?
second question- I have a part time worker whom only posts items. Am I allowed to post items while on vacation mode???
third question- customers are allowed to purchase items during vacation mode and will know that shipping will be delayed???
4th question- does this count against your store? Late shipments due to vacation mode??

I do not know of any restrictions on using your account and posting new listings while your on time away.
You have 2 options for your sales, either no sales or allow sales and ship when you return. The page above has all the details of how each option works.
If you do decide to allow purchases your shipping dates will be adjusted based on your settings so as long as you ship within the extended handling you are good.
