USPS tracking failure
I am a seller and have had 2 cases now where I shipped items the same day they were sold. USPS tracking would show "Awaiting Item". Then nothing. A couple of weeks later tracking would update to "Delivered", with nothing in-between the first tracking notification and the second. In both cases I refunded the buyers before they actually received the items as it appeared the items were "lost", or that I never mailed them. Needless to say, buyers took advantage of this flaw. I never got a dime or my items back. So, due to USPS's tracking update disaster, I both lost money and eBay penalized my "credentials" as a late shipper. It feels like I am a little ant being crushed by 2 large companies that couldn't care less about me. Of course I have proof of this by using the tracking numbers. What can I do in this case ? The automated assistant for eBay is worthless and makes my hair fall out.
