USPS shows delivered to buyers address but not received

I bought an item, USPS shows delivered to my house but I didn't receive it. I was at home the day of delivery and received other packages. Am I just out the $ or does eBay insurance cover this if seller says must be porch pirates?

Take the tracking number down to your local post office and have the clerk check their GPS system to see exactly where the package was delivered. If misdelivered they should attempt to retrieve the package. If it was to your address, then I suspect it was porch pirates, which you can then file an insurance claim with your homeowners insurance.
