USPS Shipping Nightmare
I have just had an absolute nightmare shipping with USPS. Two items sold to two separate customers. Correctly labeled with correct packing lists created thru Ebay. Took to USPS for delivery. Clerk placed the wrong label over the correct label on both items. Asked to confirm correct address, clerk ignored me. Items shipped. First customer notified he recd wrong item. Notified second customer of potential error. Notified USPS of error. They suggested an Intercept to stop delivery of second package. It failed, and was delivered. Three attempts to USPS to correct, with no help. They stated "they can't issue a return there. l will have to do it myself, they do not know how". Asked for help, was turned down. Contacted Ebay for help, was told they don't know how, to go back to USPS.
Bottom line. Refunded both customers, out $79 in shipping, failed shipping return labels, failed Intercept, out the two items I have sold. Messaged USPS detailing tracking, Intercept, created return labels, no response after one week.

Mentor2 years agoIf I am reading your post correctly, you took two packages to the post office and then gave the clerk two labels to apply to the packages. And then he/she applied the wrong labels. And your Buyers got each other's packages. I would contact the Buyers and offer to send them new labels to ship to each other. Or have them refuse delivery and/or return to sender.

OP2 years agoThe USPS clerk scanned the QR code, printed it out, then placed the incorrect one over the correct one.
