USPS Shipping label denied by USPS
eBay states that $100.00 insurance is included in the label price - Item shipped to buyer was destroyed, she tried to collect and was told there was no insurance.
I have attempted to contact eBay and only get runaround from eBay automated assistant - I have been a large seller on eBay 24 years and they have apparently made it impossible to speak with anyone.
Anyone have any idea what to do?

eBay can't help you with this. It's between you and USPS.
As the seller, you should be filing the insurance claim. You'll need photos from the buyer of the damaged item, carton, and packaging materials to attach to the claim.
If USPS deems the item improperly packaged, they may deny the claim.
You can file your claim online here:

Meanwhile, you need to refund the buyer. Advise her to open a return for an item not as described and attach her photos there. Then you can refund without requiring the return to save yourself the cost of return shipping. Ask her to hold onto the item and packaging in case USPS wants to inspect it.
