usps returning packages due to insufficient postage
ive shipped out around 200 envelopes over the last month, havent had an issue until yesterday i had 8 returned to me saying i didnt pay enough postage.
i use the ebay prepaid labels and make sure when i select the shipping option that my package meets all requirements.
i went to the post office yesterday and they said i had to pay .04 per envelope to meet the requirements, and today i had to take 2 over there and they said i had to pay 1.27 each to meet the requirement.
does anyone know what is going on with this?

Top loaders are too rigid - see the link I gave you. Your (entire) envelope needs to bend around a mug because eBay Standard envelope goes through the machinery.
A Rigid toploader makes it non-machinable.
USPS has just started sending them back to you.

Are your packages too rigid? they need to be flexible to qualify
Normally USPS is not going to scan at drop off.
Here is a guide to shipping with eBay Standard Envelope

OP4 months agonot really, they have a top loader, but ive shipped hundreds of these same packages over the last month and most of them have gone through with no issue, its just the last few days, ive gotten a few back, the strange thing is i had 1 clerk make me pay .04 sents per item one day and the next day a different clerk made me pay 1.27. i tried reaching out to the usps customer service, spent almost two hours fighting with theyre ai assistant and still couldnt get through to a person. i searched through ebay forums and the internet and just cant figure it out, i mean its not going to be worth my time if i have to spend $5 plus to ship a $4 card.
