USPS returned my mailer with postage due.
This was for a postcard shipped in a 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" photo mailer in a penny sleeve. Met all ebay requirements. I went to the post office today and added the extra postage. I was told that the package was rejected by the main hub because it wasn't machinable. That's a new one to me, I have never had a return for postage due since I started in 2008. I had a larger more flexible mailer with postcard and sleeve inside and asked them if that would pass. The answer was maybe, but to be safe I needed to ship first class with extra postage. So much for the ebay standard envelope program . I told them that I have Christmas cards that are less flexible and they told me that I better send them with extra postage? Really? So what is going on with the standard envelope program??
Thanks
