USPS QR Code Prints but Does Not Scan Properly - "Invalid Scan"
Hello,
I had some trouble at USPS with two QR codes purchased through Ebay on one particular order - never has happened and not since. My Ebay purchased QR code was able to scan for print but when the rep tried to scan to indicate it was received by USPS - it would not scan in the system. I cancelled that QR shipping label and purchased again but same thing. USPS said it was something on Ebay's end.
Two USPS employees said they had never seen that in all their years working. I ended up cancelling the Ebay labels and purchased a new one to get it out the door, to the customer. They said the same address was valid and unsure of why it showed up as invalid.
Has anyone had this happen before? All my other packages scanned fine, including another purchased the same day. Quite a headache plus twice as much for shipping out of pocket. Appreciate any help.
