USPS Priority Flat Rate Padded Envelope Not Available as Shipping Option
Hi, I am trying to choose USPS Priority Flat Rate Padded Envelope shipping for an item I’m selling, but Ebay will not give me the option to select it. I have tried entering many different package sizes including 12x9x1†but the option simply will not appear. I have even tried leaving the package size blank and choosing shipping first, but Ebay automatically fills in a package size that they estimate based off “similar†items, so I can’t seem to avoid it.
Anyone know how to solve this?

You will need to turn off the auto fill option. In the shipping section is the see shipping options menu, click/tap to open it. Turn off auto fill. You can leave the package size blank. Under cost type choose flat rate. Under primary service click the vertical dots and choose change service to open the options. Scroll down to expedited options, padded flat rate envelope will be in there.

Thank you for the answer! Unfortunately, after looking all over the phone app and the ebay site on my laptop, I cannot find the options you have told me about. I have checked under my draft listing and also under seller shipping settings on the website to no avail. While under “My Account†on the laptop, I was able to locate “Shipping Preferences†as well as “Selling Preferences†but there is nothing about autofill there.
Can you please clarify where I need to look?

The option to turn off auto fill is on the listing page.
If you are using the APP log of and log back in using a browser on your laptop, not the APP or Mobile option. Open your draft listing scroll down to the shipping section. If you are not seeing the see shipping options tab ( it is in the upper right corner of the shipping section) scroll back to the top of the listing page and look for an option to switch to the business or bulk listing tool. Click it and you should be able to see all the options.
