USPS price hikes
USPS bragged about lower rates, I just paid a MUCH HIGHER FEE through Ebay to send two 2 oz Lego Pac Pakages to texas. I think Fedx is looking better

USPS raised their rates again on 7/12. The Ground Advantage rates for packages under a pound had a significant increase.
The price you pay when you buy through eBay is discounted from the retail over-the-counter rates.

If you can ship through FedEx for less, go for it! You're not required to ship through USPS.

Mentor2 weeks agoPlease be aware that some buyers do not like FedEx shipments for various reasons and will pass your listings by if you are not using the USPS.

If you are losing money on shipping, then you are making errors when you set up the shipping parameters on your listings.
You need to enter the correct package weight and dimensions so that eBay calculates the correct cost based on each buyer's zip code.
For example, you set up the item below with First Class shipping. That shipping option was discontinued several years ago and replaced by Ground Advantage. eBay advised sellers multiple times to update their listings before the change went into effect.

Instead of closing your store, why not find the mistakes you're making and fix them?

OP2 weeks agoKEEP TRYING TO FIX. HAVE TOO MANY ITEMS LOOSING IN SHIPPING. BEEN WITH EBAY A VERY LONG TIME AND FINDING IT NOT REALLY WORTH IT ANYMORE. TOO MUCH TO FIX AND THINGS KEEP CHANGING. AND WHEN I TRY TO TALK TO A REAL HUMAN, IMPOSSIBLE. I HATE AI AND TIRED OF THIS SYSTEM. THANK YOU.

Mentor2 weeks ago@bubs1085 I see you are using Flat Rate shipping on your listings. Your listings have First Class as the shipping method. That will NOT work correctly for calculated shipping as that is a non tracked shipping method where you ship with stamps or buy the postage at the post office.
You may wish to use Bulk Edit to update your shipping to calculated shipping.
If you are NOT using business policies then you can use Bulk Edit to update your listings.
How to use bulk edit:
1. Go to this active listings page : https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
2. Put a checkmark next to all items.
3. Select edit from the top of the list
4. Select all items again
5. Select edit fields on the upper left> shipping policy> edit and submit
If you ARE using Business Policies then you go to this page>
https://www.ebay.com/bp/manage
Update the existing shipping policy ( s) and change it to calculated.
