USPS POSSIBLY LOST MY ITEM!
I purchased an item from EBay and USPS claimed it delivered item to my mail box. When I checked item was not there? Filed a claim with the USPS but have not gotten any results or follow up from them. I’ve been an eBay member for over 20 years and never once had this issue. What options do I have since the USPS is not showing support or results?

Mentor2 years agoIf the package was scanned as delivered, there is no claim to file. You took possession when it was delivered. If the package was stolen after delivery, you can alert the police to criminal activity in your neighborhood and if of sufficient value, you may be able to claim it on your homeowner's insurance.
You can also call your local post office and ask them to check their GPS data to tell you exactly where the package was left. If mis-delivered, they should help track it down (providing you are doing this within a fairly short timeframe from the delivery scan).
