USPS Mis-scan. Tracking never up dated but buyers received the package.

Question

I mailed a package via USPS. I put it in the drop box after hours. They scanned it as "delivered" to my local postoffice. The tracking never up dated, but I have confirmed the buyer received the package. Since the tracking is wrong, will ebay hold my funds and I not get paid? Has anyone else ever had this issue? How do I fix it?

All new and infrequent Sellers will have their funds held for approximately 30 days in the event of a refund request. Buyers have up to 30 days from delivery to request a refund and the Seller needs to have the funds available to cover that.

Once you have additional successful sales, eBay should start releasing your funds sooner.
