USPS Media Mail has an invalid tracking #
I printed the USPS Media Mail shipping label for my sold item and took it to the post office yesterday afternoon. I was told the tracking number was invalid and she was unable to scan it into the system. I brought the item back home to find out what I need to do. If I cancel the shipping label and print a new shipping label it is my understanding I will be charged for an additional label and it may be weeks before I am refunded for the first one I printed and I am unsure if I will be given a new tracking number on the 2nd shipping label that I have to pay additional funds for. Is there a better solution or anything different that I can do to get a valid tracking #? Our USPS closes today at Noon and I was trying to get it corrected and printed asap this morning in order to take it back to the Post Office. Can anyone advise me on what I need to do?

Mentor1 year ago@usedelwork. You would get a new tracking number as long as you select Get Another Label and not reprint
I recommend canceling the eBay label which will be refunded in about 3 weeks and buying a new one at the post office.
Media Mail costs the same at the post office as on eBay. It is not discounted like other mail classes.
