    USPS Lost package, I reimbursed buyer....
                     

    USPS insurance paid me back for lost package, but I have a bad mark on my account for it.  How do I get this off my account?  Same issue with a damaged item received by buyer.  I refunded, but still received a bad mark on my account.  How is it that shipping issues are directed at my standing as a seller?

    If you take care of your buyers such that they did not have to Ask ebay to step in, there should be no defect recorded on your account.  Once a buyer Asks ebay to step in, an unresolved transaction is recorded on your account.  I believe those stay on your record for 12 months.
