USPS lost item
When using eBay standard shipping, for trading cards. If the item is lost by the carrier, then I’m out the value of the item, correct?

eBay Standard Envelope is a Metered Mail shipping method and the tracking can only be read by the sorting equipment.
If a buyer files a not received refund request then you can file an insurance claim to get your money back. See this link>

For future shipments I recommend dropping your envelopes in the metered mail box at your post office.
You can also review this post by a fellow Mentor that has screenshots of proper packing as the envelope must remain flexible to be read by the sorting equipment.

OP1 year agoThank you, thought I had to take a loss at the hands of the USPS. Finding that there is probably much more for me to learn to be a better educated eBayer.
