USPS long delays delivering items
Is anybody else having problems receiving items purchased through Ebay that seem to get lost in postal Limbo even when provided with a tracking number? I'm having extra difficulty with small items sent from France to the US--mostly they arrive rather fast, but a few seem to vanish for months at a time. One domestic purchase from 3 months ago has gotten "lost" as well. Two parcels from France (same seller, but purchases made one month apart) got "returned to sender" with a label pasted over my (correctly written) address, claiming (falsely) that the address was "Unknown." My local post office is baffled. Eventually, after as many as three months in transit, most items do show up, but two at least have vanished into thin air, one from France (different seller) and one domestic.
