USPS Flat Rate Options Not Missing ... Just Harder to Find?
background: I use Calculated Shipping and provide a general shipping size that can be adjusted depending on which service Buyers choose.
today: I was prepping my orders for shipping this afternoon and noticed that the drop down menu of all USPS Priority Flat Rate options was not showing up. after doing some research, I still couldn't find out where they went nor why. 😉
but what I did find after scrolling down the order's shipping page, I saw a note stating that if I change the dimensions of my item, other options would/might be available. I did this and was able to get the Small Flat Rate box as an option which is what I was looking for. NOTE: I say "would/might" because I followed the same instructions for another order and couldn't get the Medium Flat Rate box option which I wanted to propagate.
still don't know why this change was made. seems like just leaving the drop down menu as it was made it easier for us and the coders on the other side. if anyone else has any insight or a better work around, please share. happy eBaying! 🙂

If you don't see the Flat Rate options, you'll need to adjust the package size so you can select them.
Try these
8x5x1 for Small Flat Rate
12x9x1 for the Flat Rate envelopes
11x8x3 for Medium Flat Rate
12x12x5 for Large Flat Rate
