USPS delayed shipment
I have a shipment from April 30 sent to Puerto Rico of perfume. The last update was that it was in Philadelphia on May 5th. USPS said it was delayed before that and had adjusted the delivery date to May 5-6. How long does it take to ship to Puerto Rico? How quickly does USPS update their tracking? It says it is currently in transit to next facility.

I would first go to the USPS site and request tracking updates via text or email. You should get a response fairly quickly. This is different than filing a missing mail claim.
Ebay wants to see that a package is moving within the past seven days. Once you have that tracking update you will know better where you stand.
Has the Buyer contacted you? If not, I would wait until they do.
If the Buyer does contact you, they will need to open an Item Not Received refund request. Once you refund, if the package is delivered, eBay will not get involved and/or force the Buyer to repay you.
Once you have that tracking update if you have additional questions, please update this post for further guidance.

OP1 year agoHi. I do have an informed delivery account...I guess I could go there and request updates. Since it was a hazardous material --perfume--usps says they can't file a missing mail request
