USPS claims Media Mail package was sent Express Flat Rate
Has this happened to anyone else? I sold a media-eligible item and shipped it in my own packaging via Media Mail, and a few days later the USPS sent a notice that they adjusted the shipping cost to me by $16 because the item was supposedly shipped in an Express Mail Flat Rate box, which was immediately deducted from my eBay balance. Has anyone had any luck disputing something like this? I already filed a claim with USPS and am considering contacting the buyer to corroborate my story in case they contact him. Any other steps I should take?
