USPS charged an additional $0.49 for my eBay Standard Envelope postage today.
Maybe eBay should revise their eBay Standard envelope postage to include "NON-MACHINABLE."
I do under $20 coins regularly and use eBay Standard envelope shipping and always verify the package meets the requirements. Three envelopes dropped off were returned with "Additional $.49 Postage" required for non-machinable envelopes. I explained and showed the eBay information and my purchased postage to the USPS clerks but they were unaware and unmoving. I paid the additional $0.49 for each envelope.
