USPS Asking for buyer to pick up

I am the seller and I have shipped to the buyer's apartment. He has messaged me saying that it was out for delivery but the status then changed to "Available for Pickup". He then says if I don't get them to deliver to his apartment, he wants me to cancel the order. Any tips on how to handle? Thanks.

Ask the buyer if the USPS left a notice for him to specify to redeliver. If not, he should call the post office and alert them to deliver the package. If he fails to pick up the package, it will be returned to you. Once you get the item back, you are only obligated to refund the item price.
