Using a Third-party payment instrument
Im a new seller, and the buyer was a first-time buyer. We completed the sale, and the buyer chose to pay through a third-party instrument. What, if anything, do we need to do so that eBay knows the deal was completed satisfactorily?

Mentor2 years ago@wils8695 I see that this is a for a vehicle in eBay motors. Buyers pay using outside payment methods for vehicles listed in eBay Motors.
You are only charged the listing fee. There are not any other fees for the sale. You just need to meet with the buyer and sign over the title. Make sure they REALLY paid before turning over the vehicle.
HOW did they pay? The only payment methods I would accept for a car would be Escrow.com, wire transfer, or cash.

OP2 years agoThank you. Yes, we just completed the verification process on Escrow.com and I'm just awaiting the funds to land in my bank. And I found a button on eBay where I can show the buyer paid, and the item shipped. I just didn't want it to look like he got the bid, and never paid. Thanks again.
