Using a different shipper

Question

Someone bought my item. I clicked on Ebay estimated shipping prior to the sale. It is way off. There is a different option that would work when I click on edit shipping service. It is more than the buyer paid and less than what it would cost for me to buy a shipping label. It won't allow me to input this option unless I'm doing something wrong?

You cannot change the shipping charges after the item has already been purchased.

In the future, do not use estimated shipping, use calculated shipping based on buyer location, weight & size of the prepackaged item.

Here's how to use calculated shipping when listing your items:

In the Shipping section of your listing, select Calculated: Cost varies by buyer location.
Next to Services, select Calculate Shipping.
In Package details in the Shipping Calculator, enter your package type, precise dimensions, and exact weight.
In the Your details section, enter your ZIP code and any handling fees.
Select Calculate shipping.
Select the shipping services you want to offer, and drag them into the order you want buyers to see them.
Select Offer shipping services.
Complete your listing.
