username changed without ebay letting us know they were doing so, mwour permission, without warning
our user name was changed to a different one---without we being informed, warned or we giving permission for doing so. we are senior citizens and buyers only on ebay as well as long time "members". Apparently someone in ebay must have inadvertently "done this deed" for i did not do so. we are being deprived of our knowledge, rememberance and record of all the items we bought from ebay. i am still buying but with a user name that has without our permission been thrust upon us. we do not like that new user name and request ebay return me back to our old one thats become an old familiar marker(of many memories) and also return us our record of over 800 items we bought from ebay to our ebay purchase list. please expedite this request and let us know when youwill do so ' i spoke with someone last week who indicated that problem would be rectified-not done yet! An i typed problem on "help and contact"-- no response yet.

The username on this eBay account has not been changed in the last thirty days. This account was registered in July of 2023.
It sounds like you may have more than one eBay account. Possibly this account was created inadvertently about a year ago when you signed in using a new device or using a social media account that was not already linked to your existing eBay account.
If so, you should be able to sign out of this eBay account and sign back into your original eBay account using your previous username and password.
