user email after a sale
I had a user with no purchases, meaning they have a 0 next to their user name. they bought something from me and then sent me an email later asking the item I sold them works? the first email was just 'Hey!'
this sounds like a scan and I was going to ignore their request since the label is already printed and I have my assistant dropping off tomorrow in the the AM to the post office.
What is the scam they are trying to pull. I also don't like my home address is the return address.

It doesn’t look like a scam. The buyer has 0 feedback which usually means they are new on eBay and not yet familiar with how things work. Best approach is just to reply through eBay messaging and confirm the item works as described in your listing. Always keep communication inside eBay messages, not by outside email.
Your return address showing on the label is standard practice for all sellers, eBay requires it for postal services. If you don’t want your home address visible, you can rent a PO Box or use another return address in your shipping settings: https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses
From looking at your recent sales, the items are straightforward with no issues, so there really isn’t anything to worry about here.
